Pic’s will be along once I get it together.
My go-to 308 load is 48.5 gr Varget with a 155 Scenar in Lapua cases. The load is one-hole accurate in four of my 308’s. It also defies most reload laws of reason.

This. But funny. Okie John
If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

Glad you like it. 🤓 At least you can appreciate a good 308 despite its wrapper.

Got a Stainless FWT in 308 that I'm thinking about dropping in an McM Edge.. Now I'm giving it a second thought. That's hard to look at.. Hmmm went back to see if OP was 4-1-2020.. You piss off the paint dude at the local gun shop?

No sir, I just wanted to step outside the box. I like bright colors a lot. It took some some strong convincing to get him to go that bright. And, it took him 6 tries to get it right. I saw one similar on the fire several years ago & decided then I would do one someday.

If Carol Baskins was going to own a rifle that would be the stock on it....

Regardless of what color it is, the Winlite pattern McMillan is a great stock for my purposes. The work well with a scope or irons, which is ideal since I use Talley QDs. I've got the 9.3 in an Edge fill, and an '06 in std. The boy has his in a std fill winlite. Both mine are black, but the kid got a wild idea and went with olive for his.
